About Tom & Schar Battle
Pastor Tom Battle is a graduate of Georgia Tech (1969) and Lakewood Bible Institute (1988). During his business career, he held prominent positions with several oil companies, reaching the executive levels of President and CEO. After a supernatural conversion and deliverance from alcohol and drug addiction in early 1985, he left the business world to enter fulltime ministry.
He and his wife were ordained in 1990 by Lakewood Church (Houston, TX), which was their home church from 1985-1995. During that time, they were mentored by Dr. John Osteen and traveled across the U.S. and abroad as evangelists and teachers. In 1995, they along with their son, Brandon, founded The Lord’s Glory Church (Humble, TX).
Tom is the author of several Christian books. He and his son Brandon have also written numerous Christian songs. Tom and Schar have been happily married for many years and have two grown children and several grandchildren.

You met my daughter today at Culver’s. She works there. I remember you from Lakewood church. I was there at the same time as you when John Osteen was alive and pastoring. I had a good friend Larissa Williams that was there that first told me about you guys. My husband and I pastor but we’ve hit a very difficult spot 5 years ago when I became an amputee. He was mad at God. We had lost our home and church the year before in Harvey. He was invited to be a pastor at another church but he doesn’t preach often. The senior pastor does as he works on Sundays and has to go straight from church to work. I no longer drive so I’m unable to go at all. I am thrilled that your church is so close to my home. I’ve noticed it driving by. My daughter and I can Uber over there on Sundays. I am so excited! We will see you all on Sunday! Praise God!!!!
My name is Benjamin al was born in a Hindu family, we worshiped Hindu Gods, I had no parents when I was young, two died.I was educated in a Christian organized home where I went to Sunday school and learned about God.However, when I was old enough, I fell away from God, I lived according to the world and committed many sins.Our father-in-law led me back to God and took me into service, so I worked as a assistant pastor for him.I accepted God in 2024 july and was baptized by Pastor Richard-.After that I fully believed in God and started serving God.God called me again in 2024 september. I went to a village and served.Then i got married to a good Christian lady and I have two children one boy and one girl.When I went to the service we didn’t have a hall, we used to go to the house near the roads and there we held the church in the street and under the trees.While chanting, some members went to another congregation as they did not have a proper Church building.We, our family members, have prayed for a way and teachings as the bible says seek the kingdom of God, fasted, and prayed individually for the group. .We pray that God will give you blessings so that you can help us reach the unreached with this gospel.We are a group members looking for Gods love.And through your website many have been encouraged.Please continue with the love you are spreading.Welcome to Kenya.
